And They Came to India......

A programme commissioned by Dr Villoo Patell of Avestagen in Bangalore has lead to the creation of a new performance on the history of the Iranian people and the circumstances that lead to their fleeing to India in the 7th century CE. Researched, written and directed by Mallika Sarabhai, the performance was premiered at The Tamarind Tree in Bangalore on August 1st. The preformance will now be expanded and become part of Darpana's repertoire.
